Depending on the model you select, the TVA voice mail service can support from 64 to 1,024 individual, password protected mailboxes.  Each mailbox allows users to configure an “after-hours” and a “busy” greeting.

Once messages are received, the system has several ways of notifying you.  Enhanced Message Notification can have users notified of new messages by:

  • The Message waiting lamp on your extensions handset will light.
  • The system can call a predetermined telephone number, such as a home office or cell phone.
  • With the proper expansion card you can revive your voicemail as sound file attached to an email.

With email integration the TVA Voice Processing system can be connected to you Local Area Network (LAN) or a Wide Area Network (WAN) providing integration with you email.  When a message is left in your voice mailbox, the system automatically sends an email to your inbox indicating the date and time of the voice message.  Then, when you open your email, you can listen to the message, save it, or forward it to any other email address.

Live Call Screening gives you the ability to monitor your incoming calls while they’re being recorded into your mailbox and, if you choose, intercept the call.  You may listen through the speaker or, for privacy, through the handset.

The TVA Voice Processor also features Automated Attendant Services.  The aut0-attendant answers incoming calls and routes the callers to the appropriate extensions or departments. Individual extensions can be set up with options for call screening, call blocking, or intercom paging.

The auto-attendant can also be configured with custom services to give you 1-digit access to department extensions, special announcements or other features such as customized menus. Dial by Name allows the caller to reach the intended extension by dialing the first few letters of the extension owner’s first or last name.

Communications Assistant is highly intuitive application for the NCP and TDE platforms.  It provides a number of features including:
